Loops.so : Affordable Email Tool for Solo Builders

September 14, 2026 · 2 min

I’ve been using Loops.so for a few months on a project that I’m working on. I’ve used loads of different email tools in the past but Loops just made sense this time.

Most email tools treat marketing and transactional sends like separate problems. You buy the platform for one, then pay extra when you need the other. Loops has taken a different approach to other email platforms. Campaigns and transactional emails (password resets, confirmations) live in the same place.

What I love most: pricing doesn’t punish you for sending a transactional email.

The Receipts

  • Metric Details Free Tier $0/month for up to 1,000 subscribed contacts (unlimited transactional sends)
  • Paid Tier Starts at $49/month for up to 5,000 contacts

What Actually Stuck

Loops is built in the way marketing actually works. You don’t need a fancy visual editor, you can personalise emails at a good level and its super fast to setup.

What I use it for:

  • Email transactions don’t count toward your subscriber limit. Password resets, confirmations, and notifications—they’re separate.
  • Workflows let you chain together events without reinventing the wheel. Add contacts, send welcome email, wait for action, send follow-up.
  • Quick setup means you can ship and grow faster.

Who Should Use This

Loops is great for when you need to move fast and stay productive. If you want to focus on what matters: gaining momentum and processing transactional emails without incurring huge operational cost, then loops is the one for you.

Skip loops if you’re need to work on heavy design-based emails, complex ecommerce integrations.
